Hours: 18.75 hours per week (part-time/contract)
Salary: £22,400 per annum (£11,200 18.75 hours per week pro rata

About the role
The post of Enter and View Project Coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering our Enter and View activities, alongside our dedicated volunteers.

Duties will include:

  • Project research and planning,
  • Volunteer management
  • Relationship management with service providers, commissioners of services and the Care Quality Commission
  • Data analysis
  • Report writing and publishing reports to strict deadlines.

We’re looking for a dynamic person to join our team. You’ll need to be able to manage your own workload with high degree of initiative. You’ll also be passionate about engaging with people and upholding people’s rights to receive high quality health and social care services.

You'll possess exceptional people, relationship and project management skills, plus report writing and IT skills. Previous experience of working within a social care or healthcare setting, and with volunteers is desirable.

The postholder will be required to work in care homes. The UK Government is bringing in legislation mandating anyone working within a CQC registered Care Home must have two doses of a Covid-19 vaccination. This extends to Healthwatch staff and volunteers undertaking Enter and View. The postholder would be expected to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Applicants who are not already fully vaccinated will be expected to take up the vaccine, or notify the organisation of any medical exemptions.
