This is called the Great Big MK GP survey for a reason: we want to reach far and wide across Milton Keynes. We want to gather good-quality, detailed information about your experiences, so allow 10-15 minutes to complete this survey.

If you have trouble completing this survey, we can help. Call us on 01908 699880. Or email info@healthwatchmiltonkeynes.co.uk and we'll arrange a time to go through the survey with you over the phone, or in person.

Please only complete this survey if you have used, or tried to use, GP services in the last 12 months.

Here's what we will do with the information you share.
•    We will compare feedback with our 2023 survey and look for any challenges and missed opportunities.
•    We will use your experiences to recognise what is working and what isn't.
•    We will share your views with the Bedfordshire, Luton & Milton Keynes (BLMK) NHS Integrated Care System.
•    We will push for changes to GP services that are fair for everyone in our community.
•    We will recommend improvements to the BLMK NHS Integrated Care Board

Some background to this survey

Last year, we asked people in Milton Keynes to share their experiences of their GP practice. Now, a year on, the demand for appointments and the fact that many are still not able to get the care they need, can make it feel like nothing has changed.
But, in the background, lots is happening to improve things: having more staff in GP practices with different medical specialties, improving telephone systems to beat that long hold queue, and bringing in better online services so that all of us get the right care, by the right person, at the right time. Some of these changes are welcomed, and some have caused residents difficulties.

Tell us about: Registration and de-registration with your GP

1. Have you experienced being de-registered from a GP practice because the catchment area of your GP practice changed?
2. If you answered yes, do you think the de-registration process was explained and managed well?
3. Have you registered with a GP in the last 12 months? *
