Talking Therapies provide British Sign Language (BSL) service

Talking Therapies is providing accessible mental health support for Deaf patients in Milton Keynes who use British Sign Language (BSL).

D/deaf residents living in Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes can now get talking therapy with a a qualified practitioners through BSL interpreters, ensuring effective communication and culturally sensitive care. 

You can self-refer or be referred through your GP, and Talking Therapies provides a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), counselling, and guided self-help. 

The service is underpinned by the Accessible Information Standard, ensuring that communication preferences are respected throughout the care pathway.
