We listen to your views and your experiences of local services.
We want to hear all your opinions and experiences of local NHS and social care services, both good and bad.
We use the information you give us to help improve service and make sure they work for you.
We write reports based on your views and experiences with recommendations for how services can be improved.
We give these reports to Healthwatch England, to the Care Quality Commission, and the people who provide and pay for NHS and social care services.
We have a statutory role to represent the views of patients and this gives us the power to make your voices heard.
Through our Enter and View programme, focus groups, surveys and by sharing consultations, we help local people become involved in how NHS and social care services are planned, provided and delivered.
We can help you find the right person to speak to if you want to make a complaint, or if your complaint is not being properly dealt with.
We can also provide you with advice and information about different services, and how to access tham, so you can make informed choices about where to go for care and support.
We have a seat at meetings and on boards where decisions about NHS and social care are made.
Our role is to represent you.
We report on what we've learnt by listening to your views.
This is another way in which we use your views and experiences to influence the way that services are planned, provided and delivered.
