The Government yesterday confirmed that all 16 and 17-year-olds in the UK are to be offered a Covid-19 vaccine, with the rollout of doses set to begin shortly.

Under guidance provided by the JCVI, 1.4 million teenagers are now eligible to receive two doses of the Pfizer vaccine – the only jab that has been approved for use in children in the UK. The JCVI has yet to outline the intervals between a first and second jab for 16 and 17-year-olds.

Once the guidance and roll-out plan is made public, we will be updating this information.
