About this event
Due to current circumstances, this event has been cancelled.
Healthwatch Milton Keynes is launching our new Healthwatch Advisory Panel (HAP). The HAP is an informal meeting where our members have the opportunity to be actively engaged in what we do.
The HAP is open to all Healthwatch Milton Keynes members. It is an opportunity to be part of a workshop designed to discuss and address common issues being raised with us by residents about local health and social care services. The aim of the workshop is to create a safe space where members can share their relevant experiences and insights of topical issues and be involved in co-creating activities and pieces of work with us.
Our first meeting is based on what we’ve heard about GP access, including problems registering, making appointments and communication with staff. We are looking for members who have personal experience of one or all of these issues in the last 12 months.
Refreshments will be provided on the day. Free parking is available at the venue.
To book a place on the HAP, please click the ‘Book Now’ button on the right and outline briefly which particular issues realting to GP access you would like to focus on in the workshop. We will email you to confirm your attendance. There are only 25 spaces available for the workshop, so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Please note that you must be a Healthwatch Milton Keynes member to attend this event.
If you have any questions prior to booking your place, please contact us. We would be happy to discuss any questions with you by email or phone.
If you are unable to attend, but you would like to feed in your story, please email us your contributions, because this will help inform the conversation on the day.
