Community Led Initiatives: Providing mentoring and group support for people in recovery from substance misuse and gambling addiction.
Community Led Initiatives logo

Community Led Initiatives (CLI) is a mentoring service that aims to support people through their recovery from substance misuse and gambling addiction. We provide 1-1 mentoring, group activities, community building and co-production as we work to remove barriers for people facing complex issues such as drug and alcohol misuse, gambling, homelessness, and offending.

Our 1-1 mentoring and group support provides emotional and practical help for people who want to make positive changes orientated around recovery, their personal goals, connecting with their community and a life beyond addiction.

Mentoring and groups are facilitated by both staff and volunteers. We are proud to say our mentors come from all walks of life and people with lived experience of substance misuse, gambling, homelessness, mental health and offending are welcome.  We invest in training and supporting our mentors to fulfill their potential and get as much a possible from the role.
